Interesting Facts
- After seven years of boycotting, the Canadian national team played in the championship, which was allowed to recruit professional players (but since the Stanley Cup was held at the same time as the championship, hockey players from teams that did not qualify for the Stanley Cup or dropped out at the first stage played in the Canadian national team).
- Together with the players of the Swedish national team, their wives were allowed to attend the championship. Maybe that's why Sweden took such a high place.
- Although Canadians returned to the championship, they continued to play just as rudely. From them went to the Swede Kent Eric Andersson (six seams on the spleen) and Sergey Babinov , who was smashed and evacuated in an unconscious state.
