Scytalopus diamantinensis (lat.) Is a species of small passerine birds from the family of topacola (Rhinocryptidae).

Description
The new species was described in 2007 in the same place from which another new species ( Formicivora grantsaui ) was described . Species of Scytalopus notorius and Scytalopus pachecoi are close to a new species, representatives of which can be distinguished by voice.
Distribution
They live in the state of Bahia (Chapada Diamantina) in eastern Brazil .
