Alekhine ); Paris ( 1924 ; world championship among amateurs) - 4-6th; Gyor (1924) - 4-5th; Kecskemét ( 1927 ) - 5-7th; Budapest ( 1928 , 1929 ) - 5-6th and 4-5th; Szolnok ( 1932 ) - 1st place. Member of the team match Moscow - Budapest ( 1949 ). For about 20 years he collaborated in the Magyar Shackquillag magazine.
