The parliamentary elections of the third convocation of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic were held on December 7, 2003. 110 deputies were elected. 55 for single-member districts, the other 55 for party lists. Barrier for parties - 5% . For the first time, elections took place in a unicameral parliament [1] .

Against all party lists 16 756 (4.40%) of voters voted. Invalidated 5,501 (1.44%) ballots. The turnout was 75.39% .
