The Central Statistical Agency ( CSA ; Eng. Central Statistical Agency , amh . የማዕከላዊ ስታቲስቲክስ ኤጀንሲ ) is the state body of the Ethiopian government, designed to conduct all surveys and population censuses in this country in order to monitor socio-economic growth, and also to perform the functions of a public educational center in this area. Included in the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development of Ethiopia.
Until March 9, 1989, the Central Statistical Office was called the Central Statistical Office .
On November 21, 2006, the Central Statistical Agency announced that the World Bank ’s Information Development Authority recognized it as the best government agency for the development of statistical information in tropical Africa. [one]
