Biography
Pega was born in a creative family in Iran. Her mother is Azerbaijani, and her father is Georgian. When Peg was two years old, they moved to Berlin , where she spent her childhood and youth. [one]
She made her debut on television at the age of 17 in the television movie Skifahren unter Wasser. She starred in the TV series SOKO 5113 , popular in Germany. The first major work was a role in the film “Folge der Feder”. The film participated in international film festivals and won the audience prize at the Mannheim-Heidelberg Festival in 2004 .
From 2005 to 2008, she starred in one of the main roles (Jagmur Ötztürk) in the series Turkish for Beginners , which won several international competitions: Prix Italia (2006), Golden Nymph at the Monte Carlo Festival (2006 ), “German Television Award” (2006) in the nomination Best Series, “Reflet D'OR” (2006), “Grimme Preis” (2007).
