Geography
The village is located along the M52 federal highway, not far from the Ovchinnikovo railway station [2] .
History
The village of Polovnikovo was founded in 1875. At the time of the census, the village council worked in it, there was a school, there were 116 households, 295 men and 328 women lived [3] .

Famous residents
Cosmonaut German Titov lived in the village. In the two-story building of the former elementary school, in which the future cosmonaut studied, the Altai State Memorial Museum G.S. Titova.
