Body, chassis, layout

Dimensions:

Length: 4500 mm
Width: 2040 mm
Height: 1150 mm
Wheelbase: 2900 mm
Track: 1625/1606 mm

The two-door body consists entirely of carbon fiber. Engine layout is medium. Gross vehicle weight 1100 kg

The carrier tube-mesh frame chassis, weighing only 65 kg, is welded from high-strength aluminum used in the space industry. This gives the entire structure sufficient rigidity. At a pressure of 30 tons, the chassis bends only 1.0 degrees. The distribution of weight along the axes is 50:50. This, as well as the lowest possible center of gravity, is facilitated by the location of a 110 liter gas tank. There are no door handles; doors are opened by an electric drive.

Engine

As the starting base used the serial engine General Motors LS7, which is installed on the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 .
This is a bi-compressor V8 motor with a cylinder angle of 90 degrees, a volume of 7011 cmΒ³, with 2 valves per cylinder driven by a lower camshaft (the so-called OHV).
From the β€œdonor” engine, only the basic design is taken - an aluminum cylinder block with a camshaft. Crankshaft , crank mechanism , forged cylinders, cylinder head, injection system, as well as two mechanically driven compressors - Weber Sportcars own design.

Characteristics:

maximum power of 900 liters. from. (662.4 kV) at 7000 rpm
maximum torque 1050 Nm at 3800 rpm
specific power is 1.22 kg / l. from.

Fuel: Super plus gasoline (AI-98)

Transmission and Drive

Semi-automatic 6-speed gearbox of own production Weber SportcarsΠ΅. Switching response 50 ms.

Variable traction control (traction control), automatic lunch control (system of automatic gear changes at startup with maximum acceleration).

All-wheel drive with electronically controlled differential. Axial torque distributions: maximum force 36% on the front axle.

Gear Ratio:

1. gear 3.093
2. gear 1.869
3. gear 1.339
4. gear 1.043
5. gear 0.855
6. gear 0.738
R. reverse gear 3.500

Upper and lower triangular pendants. Gas shock absorbers on both axes are multi-stage adjusted both along the stroke length and internal pressure.

Wheels: aluminum wheels with rubber from Pirelli :

front: 10J x 20, tires 275/35 ZR 19
back: 13J x 20, tires / 345/25 ZR 20

Brakes: Weber Sportcars dual-circuit brake system with ABS, featuring 12-cylinder aluminum calipers and 380 Γ— 34 mm ceramic brake discs with internal blowing.

The rear wing spoiler also serves as an air brake. Within 50 milliseconds, it rotates perpendicular to the air flow, which gives the braking force an additional 4.000 Newton.

Dynamic characteristics

Starting acceleration:

0-100 km / h in 2.6 s
0–200 km / h in 6.6 s
0–300 km / h in 16.2 s
The maximum speed is about 400 km / h [1] [2]
