Construction
Laid at the factory number 190 named. A. A. Zhdanova January 28, 1981 (building number 865). For the construction period, it was included in the 13 brigade of ships under construction and repair (13 brströmk) of the Leningrad Naval Base . The ship launched on July 30, 1983 [1] .
The crew was formed in the Pacific Fleet by June 20, 1984, the crew was checked in on December 4, 1984. Sea trials began on June 5, 1985. For the test period, he was included in the 76th missile ship brigade of the 12th missile ship division based on ( Liepaja naval base ) [1] .
The ship was received by the fleet on November 6, and on November 16, the naval flag of the USSR was hoisted on the ship. On January 7, 1986, the destroyer joined the Soviet Navy [1] .
Service
In 1986 he was transferred to the Northern Fleet , as part of the 56th Bram (destroyer brigade) of the 7th operational squadron . "Impeccable" arrived in Severomorsk on February 4, 1986. As part of the naval strike group (KUG) with the destroyer "Excellent" he took part in the exercises on artillery shooting, took first place in the Northern Fleet. Since August 28, 1986 he performed military service in the Mediterranean Sea.
Since January 5, 1987, together with TAKR “ Kiev ” and the BPC “ Admiral Isachenkov, ” he again performed military service in the Mediterranean Sea, tracking the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN-68) . June 2 - 5 paid a business visit to the port of Tripoli ( Libya ). June 23, 1987 he returned to Severomorsk, having traveled 20 197 nautical miles in 168 running days [1] .
March 24, 1988 “Impeccable” as part of the KMG (together with the destroyers “ Desperate ” and “ Modern ”) participated in competitive artillery fire.
From March 4 to March 17, 1989, together with the destroyer Inspired , he supervised the NATO exercises North Star and monitored the aircraft carrier USS America (CV-66) [1] .
On July 1, 1990, “Flawless” left Severomorsk, on July 9–13, paid a visit to Portsmouth (Great Britain) under the flag of Vice Admiral V.P. Eremin , and returned to Severomorsk on July 21, 1990 [1] .
On January 4, 1991, together with TARKR, Kalinin entered combat service in the Mediterranean Sea ). Between February 10 and 20, he made a business call to Tartus ( Syria ), from February 20 to 24, to Alexandria, and from February 23 to 26, to Port Said (Egypt). July 25, 1991 returned to Severomorsk [1] .
On October 1, 1991, the destroyer was transferred to the 43 missile ship divisions of 7 operations. In 1993, underwent repairs on the SRZ-35 ( Rosta ).
On August 4, 1994, by order of the Northern Fleet No. 02868, it was withdrawn to the reserve. Since November 3, 1994, it underwent repair and modernization at the Northern Shipyard in St. Petersburg . Due to lack of funding, the destroyer was designated for cancellation [1] .
Since the flag was raised, the destroyer Flawless has traveled 62,000 nautical miles [1] .
