History
The team was founded in 1920 under the name of FC Urani, but two years later it took its current name - Teuta. Already in 1930, Teuta began to play in the Albanian football Super League . After that, the club changed its name several times - “Yuli and Kuk”, “Lokomotiv”, FC “Durres”. In 1991, the team was returned the name "Teuta", which the club bears to this day. The first rise of the club came in the mid-1990s, when Teuta in 1994 became the champion of Albania, and in 1995 - the owner of the Albania Cup .
