Biography
Pupil of Azerbaijani football . He arrived in Tomsk at the age of 17. From 1964 to 1974 he played for the Tomsk Torpedo . He graduated from the Faculty of Physical Education of Tomsk State Pedagogical Institute in 1975.
Having finished his career early, Abasov focused on refereeing. Later he switched to inspecting matches of the Russian Championships, combining it with the chairmanship in the Tomsk Regional Football Federation. One of the organizers of the most massive tournament in Russia - the TV2 winter soccer tournament.
Suddenly died before the match β Ocean β - βChangeβ Komsomolsk-on-Amur , to which he arrived as an inspector.
Achievements
- The Azerbaijani SSR team includes the 1961 USSR champion among schoolchildren, the silver medalist of All-Union youth competitions.
