Biography

Born May 19, 1924 in Leningrad .

In 1942-1947 he served as an actor in the concert brigade of the political administration of the Karelian Front, the ensemble of border troops and the Musical Comedy Theater in Petrozavodsk [1] .

In 1951 he graduated from the acting faculty of the A. N. Ostrovsky Leningrad Theater Institute , class B.V. Zone [2] , and in 1955 - the directing department of the same institute [3] .

Since 1956 he was an actor and director of the V.F. Komissarzhevskaya Theater and other theaters; staged performances in the Theater of Miniatures Arkady Raikin .

Since 1965 - director of the film studio " Lenfilm ".

He died on September 19, 1989 . He was buried in a cemetery in Komarovo .
