Biography
Jeanne Paken née Jeanne Marie-Charlotte Bekkers was born in 1869 in Saint-Denis , the northern suburb of Paris, into the family of a doctor. [four]
As a teenager, she began to study sewing in a small atelier, and a few years later she got a place in the Ruff fashion house, where she walked from one of many craftswomen to the main dressmaker who headed the atelier.
In February 1891, Jeanne married Isidore René Jacob Paken with whom she created the Paquin fashion house in Paris in 1891, which existed until 1956 and had a particular reputation and reputation in the first third of the 20th century. Zhanna was the chief designer, and her husband managed the business, was engaged in the administrative affairs of the company, worked with clients.

Especially famous was the collection "Tango" ( 1914 ), which made a revolution in high fashion, she offered the public dresses with cuts on the sides hidden under the folds.
