Pamir hydroelectric power station - hydroelectric power station in Tajikistan

Power plant design began in the 1980s . The first and second units of the Pamir-1 HPP with a capacity of 7 MW per hour were launched on March 13 and April 17, 1994 . The construction of the station was completed in 2005 . The cost amounted to 40 million US dollars. It is located in the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region thirty kilometers from the regional center of Khorog on the Gunt River near the village of Tang. Four turbines with a total capacity of 28 MW were installed at the hydroelectric power station. The station is a dam-derivation, there is a reservoir of daily regulation. [one]
