History
The street has existed since 1887. Until 1949 it was called Tavastgus Street, along one of the provincial centers of Finland - the city of Tavastgus (now the city of Hämeenlinna ). On January 27, 1949 , on the fifth anniversary of the liberation of Leningrad from the blockade, the street was renamed Grafova Street - in honor of the Hero of the Soviet Union, junior lieutenant I.A. Grafov (1924-1944), who died heroically in the area of the Narva River on February 22, 1944. In 1970, a memorial plaque in honor of the hero was opened on house 2.
