Zurrik ( Malta. Żurrieq ; or Iz-Zurrik , Malta. Iż-Żurrieq ) is one of the oldest cities in Malta . As of November 2005, a little less than 10 thousand people lived in the city. Located in the southeast of the island of Malta .

The feast of the Catholic patroness of the city, Catherine of Alexandria, is the most important feast of the city and one of the most beautiful holidays in Malta. During the holiday, fireworks are organized, and in the city they display a decorated statue of the saint. The second most important holiday of the city is July 16, the feast of Our Lady of Mary Carmel.
