History
Gabala City Stadium was built in 1985 on the basis of a local tobacco factory. The total area of the complex is 6 hectares. In addition to the main stadium, the complex also has several reserve sites. In 2005, a thorough repair and reconstruction work began. 2000 plastic seats were installed, the lawn was updated. In 2006, modern locker rooms, a gym were built, water supply was established using artesian wells. In 2007, the construction of a spare stadium, new stands, and the installation of an electronic scoreboard began. In parallel with this, the construction of reserve sites with artificial turf was started.
