Geography
Location
18 km west of Rechitsa , 2 km from the railway station Demekhi , 68 km from Gomel .
Hydrography
Vedrich River (a tributary of the Dnieper ).
Transportation System
Transport links on a country road, and then on the Kalinkovichi -Gomel highway.
There are 22 residential buildings in the village ( 2004 ). The layout consists of a rectilinear street close to latitudinal orientation. Development - wooden manor houses.
Ecology and nature
Near the village there are deposits of iron ore .
History
Founded in the XIX century as a folk farm , the possession of Lieutenant Budenovsky and in 1876 the area was 647 acres of land. He was part of the Rivne-Slobod volost of the Rechitsa district of the Minsk province .
In 1931 a collective farm was organized. During the Great Patriotic War , 6 residents of the village died on the fronts. In 1959, the village was part of the Demekhi state farm with a center in the village of Soltanovo .
Until July 31, 2007 as part of the Demekhov Village Council [1] .
