Beijing welcomes you ( Chinese ex. 北京 欢迎 你 , pinyin : Běijīng huānyíng nǐ , pall .: Beijing Huanying ) - a special song for the 100-day countdown to the start of the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing . Over 100 famous artists from mainland China , Taiwan , Hong Kong , Japan and South Korea worked on the song ^[1] . The music video contains views from all over Beijing. She is also known for being the only song performed in Chinese with the largest number of famous artists. The lyrics were composed by the Hong Kong songwriter Albert Leiang Wai Man ( Albert Leung Wai Man ), and the music was by the Chinese songwriter Ke Zhaolei, known as Xiao Ke.

5 characters from the original Chinese name of the song (“ Bei jing huan ying ni ”) were used as the names of the “ Fuwa ” talismans that symbolized the 2008 Summer Olympics: Bei Bei fish , Big Panda Ching Ching, Huan-Huan flame , Yin gazelle Ying, and the Swallow Ni-Ni.
