Outstanding acceleration

Outstanding acceleration ( quasistatic outstanding acceleration ) is the acceleration that occurs when rolling stock passes in curved sections of a railway track . Measured in m / s². Outstanding acceleration is standardized: for passenger cars 0.7 m / s², for freight ± 0.3 m / s².
