Geography
Location
22 km south of Rechitsa and the railway station on the Kalinkovichi - Gomel line , 72 km from Gomel .
Transportation System
Transport communication on the highway Khoiniki - Gomel.
The village has 65 residential buildings ( 2004 ). The layout consists of a slightly curved, with a latitudinal orientation, street, which is adjoined by a straight street from the south. The building is double-sided, wooden, with manor houses.
History
According to written sources, the village has been known since the 19th century and was part of the Malodushskaya volost of the Rechitsa district of Minsk province . According to the 1897 census, a village and a grain store were located in the village.
From December 8, 1926 to December 30, 1927, the village was the center of the Andreevsky Village Council. The peasants had 675 hectares of land in use. In 1931 the collective farm “Collective farm labor” was organized, the forge worked . During the Great Patriotic War, 49 villagers died on the fronts of the war. During the occupation, an underground group operated (leaders Yegor Ivanovich Vasinets and Yegor Isakovich Vasinets).
In 1959, the village was part of the F.E.Dzerzhinsky collective farm with a center in the village of Rivne Sloboda . In the village there was a feldsher-midwife station, club.
