The early years
Ilya was born on August 19, 1974 in Moscow. He graduated from high school, after which he entered the Moscow Architectural Institute . Released in 1996 .
From childhood, he was a music lover, and in school years, with the help of his father, he joined the world of heavy music.
Once, while sitting at home, I listened to Modern Talking . Father came up and said - “Enough to listen to these elementary songs, here’s the record for you - listen! It's great! This is rock!". The record was a Bulgarian collection of Queens. I listened, it made me goosebumps, and I realized - "Yes, rock is cool!" Then he began frantically to search for records of "rock". Then there was a cassette with Scorpions 1983 and Accept 1982. I liked it even more - I was of little interest in other music ...
In 1987, Ilya gets acquainted with the work of Helloween and begins to try herself as a vocalist, initially imitating Michael Kiske . Since the voice was young, the parts were easy to remember, and the timbre of voice and intonation were very similar. As a result, he and his school friend Valery Alkhimovich (in the future, the guitarist of the NAIV group) began to perform Helloween songs at the school level. After a short time, Ilya realized that music is serious, and began to look for a full-fledged team. They became a young but serious collective “Hammer of the Witches”, which rehearsed on the same base with such teams as “Demarche” and “ Cockroaches!” ". However, at the first (held in 1991) concert “Witch’s Hammer” Mikhail Vesyolly met with Ilya - at that time he was the director of Trizny - and offered to try himself in Trizny as a vocalist.
1990s, Trizna
The arrival of Ilya Alexandrov in a group in which the guitarist Konstantin Seleznev had previously performed the duties of a vocalist, contributed to the early development of Trizny. Performing at the White House in 1991, touring different cities, the first demo album ( 1992 ) as a result led to the conclusion of a contract with a notable label - BIZ Enterprises . At their recording studio, the group became friends with such groups as Black Obelisk , E.S.T. and many other upper echelon groups. In 1995, the first number album of Trizny “Out of step” was released, where Ilya departs from imitation of Kiske and begins to form his own style of singing.
But in 1996, Ilya graduated from the university, marries, and the musical life fades for a while.
2000 - The Rebirth of Trizny, Fear Factor
In 2000, Seleznev proposes to reassemble the team, and Ilya agrees, despite the noticeably changed musical predilections. Therefore, after the release of the Vertical Horizon record, Ilya positively accepts Kirill Nemolyaev ’s proposal to create the “ Fear Factor ” project on the basis of Trizna. The release of the album " Theater of Military Operations, Act 1 " ( 2005 ) in a new genre for the collective is also marked by the formation of a new, more aggressive manner of singing, which was positively appreciated by the audience [1] . “Trizna” (with the release of “The Second Act ”, which finally changed its name to “Fear Factor”) gave a new popularity to “second wind”, and Ilya, together with the group, again merges into an active musical life.
The next milestone, marked by a change in the style of performance (the second in a row), was the album “ Your Ideal World ”, on which Ilya mastered screaming and growling .
Death
Suddenly died April 29, 2010: the vocalist of the “Fear Factor” stopped his heart.
