Career

Club

During the First World War, he lived as a refugee in France in the city of Lyon , where he graduated from high school and began playing football. After returning to his homeland in 1918, he continued to play football in the Belgrade Club BSC , for the main part of which he debuted in 1919 . In the same year, he became one of the founders of the new Belgrade club BUSK , in which he received a membership card number 1 and played until 1921 , after which he returned to BSK, for which he played until the end of his playing career in 1926 . In addition, he played 7 matches for the national team of Belgrade. [one]

In the national team

As part of the main national team of the Kingdom of CXC, he played the only time on September 2, 1920 in a “comforting” match against the Egyptian team at the Olympics in 1920, his team lost the match with a score of 2: 4. [2]

After career

After completing his playing career, he remained in the Belgrade BSC structure, held various administrative positions at the club, was a member of the board.

During the Second World War, he served in the French army , promoted to colonel . After the end of the war, he was in occupied Germany as part of the Allied forces, where he died at the 52nd year of life on December 18, 1952 in Osnabrück , never returning to his homeland. [one]
