Until 2006, the village was the administrative center of the Selivanikhovsky rural district , since 2006 it has been part of the urban settlement of Yegoryevsk . Despite the official village status, the inhabitants themselves divide Selivanikha into two parts - the village, which is called Selivanikha and the village, which is called simply a village. Due to the good location of the village (a few meters from Selivanikha is the Yegoryevskoye Shosse ( P105 , a regional highway connecting Moscow and Kasimov ), more summer plots than houses appear in Selivanikha.
Infrastructure
In the village part, in addition to five five-story buildings, there are:
- Pyaterochka supermarket
- Village Council [2]
- Selivanikhovskaya high school
- Kindergarten
- Egorievsky Fat Shop [3]
- Club-dining room for celebrations
- Stadium, football field (104x62 m in size)
- Tennis court (two courts, artificial grass and clay)
- Mini-football field (artificial turf)
- Rest zone
In the village, in addition to the one-story typical village houses and summer cottages, there are:
- Library
- Farm (partially disbanded)
Due to the lack of jobs in Selivanikh itself, many residents work in the regional center - Yegoryevsk and nearby cities. The relatively close location of the village to the district center (~ 3 kilometers) allows it to keep up with industrial progress. In the village, many use the services of satellite television (mainly the operator Tricolor TV ) and Internet technologies (mainly the provider RM Telecom or mobile Internet SkyLink and MTS ).
