152nd Fighter Aviation Regiment

The regiment’s administration was formed in Moscow on December 30, 1939. The formation of the regiment ended on 01/09/1940 at the airport of Voynitsa (west of Ukhta ).

Took part in the winter war

As part of the army from 09/18/1941 to 01/13/1945 .

On 06/22/1941 , it was based at airfields in Kegostrov near Arkhangelsk , with 38 I-16 aircraft available

In September 1941 , he was relocated to an airfield near Lake Onega and began operating on the Medvezhyegorsk direction. The warhead of the regiment was replenished with Hurricane aircraft

Obviously, at the beginning of 1942 he was re-equipped with P-40 Kittyhaw aircraft

03/17/1942 flew to the Pinozero airfield with 22 Kittyhawk as part of 22 P-40s . Acted on the Kandalaksha direction until 1944.

During the Petsamo-Kirkenes operation, he covered the advancing Soviet troops and attack aircraft.

At the end of the operation, he did not participate in battles
