Biography

Started playing volleyball in Leningrad . The first coach is L.E. Osetrov. She played for the team: 1959-1962 - "Labor reserves" (Leningrad), 1962-1978 - "Spartak" (Leningrad) . Winner of the USSR Cup 1976 and 1977. As part of the national team of Leningrad, she became a two-time silver medalist of the Spartakiad of the Peoples of the USSR (1963 and 1971; in 1963, at the same time, the 2nd prize-winner of the USSR championship ).

In 1965, as part of the student team of the USSR, she became the winner of the World Universiade .

In the USSR national team in official competitions she performed in 1967-1972. It consists of: two-time Olympic champion ( 1968 and 1972 ), world champion 1970 , two- time European champion ( 1967 and 1971 ).

In 1979-1992 she worked as a volleyball coach in Leningrad / St. Petersburg .

She was awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor and medals.

She died on February 4, 2016 [1] .
