Ukrainian State Chemical-Technological University (full official name State Higher Educational Institution “Ukrainian State Chemical-Technological University”, the abbreviated official name of the State Higher Educational Institution of the Ural State Chemical Technical University) is a university in the city of Dnipro , Ukraine . History
May 15, 1930. Dnepropetrovsk Institute of Chemical Technology was founded. The initiators of its creation were academician L.V. Pisarzhevsky, professors A.I. Brodsky and P.T. Rubin. The Institute consisted of two faculties: the technological and the main chemical industries.
1931. The first graduation of specialists (18 people).
1933. The mechanical faculty was created.
1934. At the Department of Physical Chemistry under the guidance of Professor A. I. Brodsky, for the first time in Russian science, a heavy isotope of hydrogen was obtained.
1941 - 1944 Evacuation in the city of Kemerovo. Under the direction of A. I. Karasik, Molotov cocktails are produced for the needs of the front.
After merging with the Rubezhansky Institute of Chemical Technology in evacuation, DKhTI became the only higher education institution in the chemical field in Ukraine.
1950 The main building of the Institute was rebuilt.
1953 Two new faculties were created: technology of organic substances (first dean - O.S. Fomenko) and technology of inorganic substances (founder - professor A.V. Baranov).
1954 The Faculty of Silicate Technology was established (Dean G.I. Belyaev).
1964. The Faculty of Technology of High-Molecular Compounds was created (Dean O.S. Fomenko).
1978 For great achievements in the development of chemical education, DHTI was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor .
1993. The Institute was granted university status. The former DKhTI became the Ukrainian State University of Chemical Technology and Technology, the only specialized higher educational institution in Ukraine with a chemical profile.
1995. The Faculty of Economics was established (Dean Kior B.A.).
2002. A Chemical-Ecological Lyceum was created on the basis of the university ( http://knz-hel.dnepredu.com/ ).
2004. Dneprodzerzhinsky Industrial Technical School is included in the university (https://ikcollege.wixsite.com/ikkm).
2016. Start of the international educational project “Water Harmony-II”.
2018 A new specialty “Nuclear Energy” is opening.

- The first place among technical universities of Ukraine in the international scientometric database Scopus, the second place in the region and 16th place among 200 universities of Ukraine.
- The journal "Issues of Chemistry and Chemical Technology" (http://vhht.dp.ua/menu/about) is indexed and referenced in international scientometric databases: Scopus (since 2017) , Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS) , Google Scholar , J -Gate , Open Academic Journals Index . - 75% of applications for grants from young scientists of the Ufa State Chemical Technical University won funding from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine in 2017.
