Adamovka ( Belorussian. Adamagka ) is a village that is part of the Zaspensky village council of the Rechitsa district of the Gomel region of Belarus .

Geography

Location

16 km south of Rechitsa , 66 km from Gomel and 16 km from the Rechitsa railway station .

Hydrography

In the east, there is a reclamation canal.

Transportation System

Transport links on a country road, and then on the Loev - Rechitsa highway .

The village has 18 residential buildings (2004).

The layout consists of an almost straight street, oriented from the southeast to northwest. Construction of wooden manor houses.

History

In 1890, archaeologists discovered and examined 19 mounds of the 10th-12th centuries (1.5 km east of the village). The discovery of the mounds provides the basis for the assertion that these places have been inhabited since ancient times. According to written sources, the village has been known since the 19th century as the village of the Zaspensky volost of the Rechitsa district of the Minsk province . In 1897, according to the census, the village had a church and a grocery store.

From December 8, 1926 to December 30, 1927 the village was the center of the Adam village council of the Rechitsa district of the Rechitsa district . In 1931 a collective farm was organized. During World War II, 32 villagers died at the front. In 1959, the village was part of the Soviet Belarus collective farm with a center in the village of Zaspa .
