Józef Brejza ( Polish: Józef Brejza ; born 1936 , Cieszinski County ) is a Polish horn player and music teacher.

Biography
Jozef Braise received his musical education at the Silesian Conservatory in Katowice . After graduating with honors in 1957 , he played for some time in the Katowice Philharmonic Orchestras and the Polish Radio National Symphony Orchestra . In 1960, he moved to Switzerland , where he joined the Basel Symphony Orchestra . Soon he returned to Poland for a while, but since 1962 he continued to work in Basel . From 1965 to 1996, Jozef Braise taught the French horn at the Basel Academy of Music .
Throughout his career, Braise repeatedly acted as a soloist with various symphony orchestras. He made a number of recordings of musical works for the horn, as well as in chamber ensembles. In particular, there are several of his joint recordings of the works of Mozart , Beethoven and Brahms with Yehudi Menuhin . Together with the Zurich Chamber Orchestra, he made the first recording of the concert for the French horn Otmar Schöck .
