Vekoslavos Zupančić ( Croatian Vjekoslav upančić ; 1900 , Agram , Austria-Hungary - 1971 , Zagreb , Yugoslavia ) - Yugoslav Croatian footballer who played the position of defender , coach, functionary. Member of the Olympics in 1920 as part of the national team of Yugoslavia .

Career

Club

From 1918 to 1920 he performed in the composition of the Zagreb club HASHK . In 1921 he moved to Austria , to the club " Wiener Amateur ", in which he performed until 1925 , becoming during this time, together with the team, once the champion of Austria , three times winner and once a finalist of the Austrian Cup . In 1926, he returned home to Khashk, which he then played until 1928 [1] , becoming during this time, together with the team, once the third winner of the CXC Kingdom Championship [2] .

In the national team

As part of the main national team of the Kingdom, CXC played once on August 28, 1920 in a match against the Czechoslovak national team at the 1920 Olympics , his team lost the match with a score of 0: 7 [1] .

Coaching

After completing his playing career, he worked as a coach. From 1943 to 1945 he was the president of the club HASHK, becoming, in the end, because of the disbandment of the club, the last person to hold this position [1] .
