Biography
Elchin Sadigov was born on June 14, 1989 in the city of Jelgava , Latvian SSR . In 1991, together with his family, he moved to Azerbaijan , to the city of Zagatala . After living there for five years, in 1996 he moved to the city of Shamkir , where he first became involved in football in the children's group of the Shamkir club . The first coach was Rasim Aliyev. At the age of 15 he was called up to the junior national team of the country U-17, in connection with which he moved to Baku in 2005.
Club career
Since 2008, defended the colors of the Premier League club of Azerbaijan - Neftchi (Baku) . In the team he played under No. 2. Before that, he performed in the second composition of the club, the Neftchi-2 team.
In the 2007 season, he participated in the Neftchi team in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Cup , against the Austrian Reed Club [1] . In the 2008 season, he took part in the Neftchi team in the first, second and third matches of the Intertoto Cup , against the Nitra clubs (Slovakia) , Germinal (Belgium) and Vaslui (Romania) [2] [3] [four] .
In the Azerbaijan Championship, the debut match was played on May 15, 2010 against Karabakh [5] . In his first four matches of the national championship he didn’t miss the goals (three of them played completely, one more went out for two minutes).
After leaving Neftchi, he performed in the top division for Sumgayit , AZAL , Araz , Baku and Ravan , but he could not become a major player in any of the clubs. 2016/17 season spent in the first division for the club "Karadag Lokbatan".

National team of Azerbaijan
He played for the national teams of Azerbaijan up to 17 and up to 19 years. Participant in the qualifying round of the 2007 European Junior Championships (U-19) . The tournament, held in October 2007 in the Austrian cities of Linz , Pasching , Reed and Steyr , took to the pitch in matches against peers from Scotland [1] (not available link) (2 - 0), Moldova [2] (not available link) ( 0 - 0), Norway [3] (unavailable link) (2 - 1) and Iceland [4] (unavailable link) (2 - 5).
As part of the youth national team of Azerbaijan, he performed under number 1. From January 4 to 10, 2009, as part of the youth team, he held training camps in the Turkish city of Antalya [6] . In the qualifying tournament of the European Youth Championship in 2011 played 3 matches.
