Jack Clarke ( born Jack March 1, 1988 Effingham , Surrey ) is a professional British race car driver. Clark is stepson of ex- Formula 1 pilot and British Touring Car Championship Julian Bailey .

Career

Formula BMW

Clark's debut in the circuit races took place in 2006 in the Formula-BMW UK for the Nexa Racing. In his debut season, he earned only two points, which brought him 22nd place in the overall standings and sixth place in the rookie cup. He also finished 25th in the World Finals in Valencia .

Formula Palmer Audi

Clark moved to Formula Palmer Audi in the 2007 season . [1] Clark showed a miserable start in the championship, having accumulated only 76 points in seven races. Seven podiums in the remaining thirteen races, including two wins on the Brands Hatch [2] and Croft , [3] progressive Clark took fourth place, two points behind Jason Moore . [4] Clark also took part in the Autumn Trophy, and finished there in third place in the championship, behind champion Robert Keane by 16 points. [five]

Clark continued to perform in the series in 2008 , and finished the season in fifth place. [6] Clark won the race at Oulton Park [7] and Brands Hatch [8] (also establishing the fastest laps), he also managed to show the fastest time in the race on the Snetterton circuit. He also took part in the Autumn Trophy for the second time, and finished the season fourth with one victory, two poles and a fast lap on the stage in Brands Hatch.

Formula 2

In 2009, Clark moved to the revived FIA Formula 2 series, his car number 11. [9]
