Geography
Location
The village is located 11 km southwest of Rechitsa and 61 km from Gomel .
Transportation System
Transport connection on a country road, and then on the Vasilevichi -Rechitsa highway .
There is 1 residential building in the village ( 2004 ). Layout - a short rectilinear street from the southeast to the southwest with sparse wooden buildings.
History
According to written sources, it has been known since the 19th century as a farm of the nobleman Lyubichankovsky, who in 1876 owned 261 acres of land and was part of the Rivne Slobod volost of the Rechitsa district of the Minsk province .
In 1931, peasants entered the collective farm .
During the Great Patriotic War, 12 villagers died at the front.
Osovets is part of the farm "10 years of October" with a center in the village of Peresvyatoe .
