Ellin Abbott Young (Allyn Abbott Young, September 19, 1876 , Kenton , Ohio - March 7, 1929 , London ) is an American economist . He was the youngest graduate of Hiram College (1894); later studied at the University of Wisconsin. He taught at Dartmouth College , Cornell University , Stanford and Harvard . President of the American Statistical (1917) and Economic Associations (1925).
