Biography
S.T. Puzikov was born on May 15, 1916 in the Prishib farm of the Don Army Region (now Morozovsky District, Rostov Region . After graduating from the Kamensky Pedagogical School in 1935, he worked as a teacher, deputy editor and editor of the Morozovsky Bolshevik regional newspaper in the Rostov Region. Member of the CPSU ( b) since 1939 .
In 1944, he was first assigned to party and Soviet work: in 1944-1949 - the secretary of Zimovnikovsky and the first secretary of the Aleksandrovsky district committee of the CPSU (b), in 1949-1950 - the first secretary of the Azov district committee of the CPSU (b), in 1950-1954 - the head of the Rostov regional committee VKP (b) - the CPSU , in 1954-1960 - second secretary of the Rostov regional committee of the CPSU, in 1960 - chairman of the Rostov regional executive committee.
In November 1960 he was sent to work in the Lipetsk Region and was elected the first secretary of the Lipetsk Regional Committee of the CPSU , having worked in this position (actually the highest in the region) until his sudden death on October 18, 1962 .
On October 31, 1961, S. T. Puzikov was elected a candidate member of the CPSU Central Committee .
