Kassim Bizimana ( Rundi Kassim Bizimana ; born December 29, 1985 , Bujumbura ) is a Burundian footballer who strikes at the Dutch amateur club Giten. He played two matches for the national team of Burundi . He has Dutch citizenship.

Biography
Kassim Bizimana was born on December 29, 1985 in Bujumbura , Burundi . At the age of 16, Kassim moved to the Netherlands as a refugee due to the war between the Tutsi and the Hutus . [one]
Club career
After moving to the Netherlands, Bizimana began playing football at the Achilles 1894 youth club. In 2001, Kassim joined the youth team of the Heerenveen Club; two years later he moved to the Groningen club, with which in 2004 he signed a one-year professional contract.
Kassim made his debut in the Netherlands Top Division on October 22, 2004 in a guest match against Willem II , Biziman won 70 minutes, after which he was replaced by Jak Tüypa , in the end the match ended with the defeat of Groningen with a score of 4: 2. [2] In total, in the championship of the 2004/05 season, Kassim spent 4 matches. [3] In one of the matches, which took place on November 14, 2004, Bizimana earned a red card , a few minutes after entering the field. [4] Basically, in the 2004/05 season, Kassim played for the Groningen youth squad.
In July 2005, Kassim as a free player moved to the Vendam club, which played in the First Division of the Netherlands . In the debut season for Vendam, Biziman spent 15 matches in the championship, and his team finished 14th in the season. On August 25, 2006, Kassim scored a double into the goal of the VVV-Venlo club, two goals scored by Bizimana at the end of the match became his debut at the club, and thanks to him his team won a home victory with a score of 2: 1. [5] In the 2006/07 season, Kassim quite often became distinguished by goals scored, in 30 matches Bizimana scored 12 goals and was on a par with Marniks Calder in his team, [6] which, according to the results of the season, took eighth place in the standings.
In April 2007, Kassim received a serious meniscus injury , after which he needed an operation that was performed in the city of Almelo . [7] Before the injury, Bizimana managed to hold eight matches in the championship, leaving all to replace in the second half. [8] Recovery from the injury took Kassim eight months and so he could not help his team in the 2007/08 season , following which Wendam took 15th place. In the 2008/09 season, Kassim scored only one goal in 19 games [9] . On July 1, 2009, Bizimana’s current contract with Vendam expired, and as a free player he moved to the Sneek amateur club, which plays in one of the lowest class divisions in the Netherlands, where mainly amateur teams play [10] [11 ] ] .
Team Career
As part of the national team of Burundi Bizimana made his debut on June 1, 2007 in a match against the national team of Seychelles . Kassim spent 34 minutes on the field, after which he was replaced by another striker Claude Nahiman [12] .
