Kosovsk Mitrovica ( Serb. Kosovsk Mitrovitsa ) is a community in Kosovo , part of the Kosovo-Mitrovica District . The community north of the Ibar River is part of Northern Kosovo , populated by a Serb majority. There are proposals to separate this part of the community into a separate municipality of Northern Kosovsk-Mitrovica .
