Lozovo ( Maked. Lozovo ) is a village in the Republic of Macedonia , the administrative center of the Lozovo community in the Eastern region of the country.

The village is located in the historical and geographical area of Ovche-Pol, north of the city Shtip and east of the city of Veles .
Content
History
In the XIX century, the village was a settlement in the Ottoman Empire ( Shtipskaya Kaza ) and was then called Jumal or Jumailya. In 1900, there were 150 inhabitants - all Turks [1] .
Population
According to the 2002 census [2], the population of the village is 896 inhabitants, of which:
- Macedonians - 851 people;
- vlahi - 26 people;
- Turks - 8 people;
- Serbs - 5 people;
- others - 6 people
Sports
In the village there is a football club "Worker", playing in the second league of the country.
