Located in the northeastern part of the region, 33 km north-east of Gagarin , 22 km west of the P90 Tver - Uvarovka road , on the bank of the Savinka River. 25 km north of the village is the Knyazhy Gory railway station on the Moscow - Rzhev line .

History

During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in October 1941 , liberated in March 1943 . [one]
