Pence Murray became the legal tender in 1679 by decision of Tinvald along with the coins of Britain. Triskelion and the national motto first appeared on Murray’s pennies: Quocunque Gesseris Stabit , which was changed to Quocunque Jeceris Stabit at the beginning of the 18th century.
