Content
History
It was founded in 1995 by Pavel and Larisa Karaban [2] . Since the end of 2007, the network belonged to Finstroy holding (which manages the assets of Oleg Boyko ), which acquired a 75% stake in Rive Gauche [3] .
In mid-October 2008, the first store was opened in Moscow in the Pyramida shopping center on Tverskaya Street [4] In 2016, this store was closed.
On December 30, 2010, the Rive Gauche chain acquired 32 Douglas Rivoli stores [2] .
In August 2012, Oleg Boyko broke up with a controlling stake in the network, selling 51% of its shares to former co-owners of the Lenta network Dmitry Kostygin and August Meyer, the transaction amount was estimated at $ 115-140 million [2] .
