Biography
She graduated from the Department of History of the A. A. Zhdanov Leningrad State University in the Department of Art History ( 1974 ). In 2003, on the Council of the State Institute of Art Studies, she defended her thesis for the degree of Doctor of Art Criticism on the topic “Towards the History of the Petrograd Avant-Garde 1920-1930s: Events, People, Processes, Institutions”.
Leading researcher at the Department of the latest trends of the State Russian Museum . The author of the book “The Adventures of the Black Square” ( 2007 , together with Tatyana Goryacheva ), dedicated to the famous work of Kazimir Malevich , and the album “Space of Sterligov” ( 2001 , together with M. German and L. Gurevich ) about the artist Vladimir Sterligov . The compiler (together with E. N. Petrova ) of the collection “From the History of the Museum”, prepared and published by the museum in 1995 .
Member of St. Petersburg Union of Artists , AIS , International Association of Art Critics (AICA) and the St. Petersburg branch of AIS .
