General Information
The competition was conceived in 2008 as a warm-up tournament for leading tennis players on the eve of the start of the season; The first championship was held in January 2009. In the future, the tournament became annual, held on the eve of the start of the first gaming week of the regular season.
According to the rules of the competition, six athletes participating in the three-round elimination tournament take part in it.
