History
The regiment was formed on the basis of the 1st division of the 104th army cannon artillery regiment in April 1942 in the 14th army .
As part of the army from 05/12/1942 to 11/26/1944 .
By formation, he was at the turn of the Western Litsa River , fired at enemy clusters, fired counter-battery, supported parts of the 14th Rifle Division and the 10th Guards Rifle Division .
In August 1942 , he transferred the 7th and 8th batteries to the Northern Fleet (renamed the 378th and 379th mobile artillery batteries, respectively).
In the Petsamo-Kirkenes offensive operation of October 1944 he supported the advancing Soviet troops with fire, destroying the enemyβs long-term defensive points with his fire, distinguished himself during the liberation of Petsamo . After the operation, he was deployed in Kirkenes , then at the end of November 1944 he was taken to the Kola Peninsula near Murmansk .
In December 1944 , he turned to the formation of the 204th cannon artillery brigade .
