Career
Collison is a graduate of the famous West Ham United Football Academy. The first team of West Ham was first called in November 2007 for a match against Bolton . He made his debut on January 1, 2008 in a game with Arsenal , replacing Swede Freddy Jungberg . The first goal was scored on November 8, 2008 at the Everton goal at Upton Park . At the end of the season, Collison was voted West Ham's Best Young Player of the Year.
In February 2016, he announced his retirement, at the age of 27, from a chronic knee injury.
