About the album
Harmony Corruption is very different from the previous two, and much more death metal than grindcore , sounding similar to the early work of Death or Deicide , was recorded in the same studio as them, and has extremely heavy riffs and low vocals. The speed of the album is noticeably lower.
After the departure of vocalist Lee Dorrian, his place was taken by Mark "Barney" Greenway . In addition to changing the vocalist, this album was the last for drummer Mick Harris as part of Napalm Death.
In the earlier versions of the album, the EP also included Mentally Murdered , sold a year earlier (at the end), and thus the number of tracks was 17. Currently, the album does not contain anything except 11 standard compositions. In one composition of the album - "Unfit Earth" was attended by guest vocalist of death metal band Obituary John Tardy . Another guest vocalist, Benton, Glen , who belongs to the death metal band Deicide, took part in the same composition.
In British charters, the album took 67th place (peak rise). A limited-edition LP edition with the LP-live bonus recorded on ICA was also released.
