History
The village of Ust-Khoperskaya was located on the right side of the Don River, 30 kilometers from the District village ( Ust-Medveditskaya station, the Donskoy Army Regions ), in the region, since ancient times populated by the Don Cossacks. Initially, the village was located on the left side of the Don River, in the tract "Winter meadow", at the mouth of the Khopyor River, which is why it got its name Ust-Khopyorskaya. However, from a flood whose year is unknown, the village was moved downstream to the left side of the Don River, to Lake Nikolsky, this place is located against the upper end of the current village settlement and is called the “Old Town”. When the village was moved to its current place, it is also unknown. But from the magazine of Peter I it can be seen that in 1696 the town of Khoper was already on the right side, that is, in its present place. She also came here due to the flood. The time of the first initial settlement of the village is unknown, it existed already in the 17th century and is mentioned “in the travel note of the boyar Shein , who sailed past them in 1695 with his troops to Azov”.
In 1724, a wooden church was built and lit in the name of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker in the village. She existed for 70 years. Due to its dilapidation, on September 17, 1784 a stone church was laid, with the same bell tower, also in the name of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker. The old wooden Nicholas Church is sold in the village of Gulyaev. The utensils of the church were sufficient; in it were: a silver vessel of 1782, the gospel of 1615, the gospel of 1735. Silver cross donated by Colonel Astakhov in 1811. There was another church in the village, in the cemetery, in the name of the Resurrection of the Lord, was built in 1850 at the expense of Colonel Emelyanov and his wife Sophia, also a stone, with a bell tower and a fence. In 1828, 80 yards burned out in the village, and on May 12, 1885, 13 yards burned out in it. Cholera was in 1830, 1848, 1849, 1885, and 1886. [2]

In the 1970s, asphalt was laid from the regional center to the Bobrovsky-1, Krutovsky and Rybinsk farms.
During the years of Soviet power, forced collectivization, the politics of slander , were practiced, and they did not bypass the village of Ust-Khoperskaya. The terrible Holodomor of the early thirties did not bypass it either.
