Raymond Gerbert (Ray) Wise ( born Raymond Herbert “Ray” Wise ; born August 20, 1947 ) is an American actor known for his roles as Leland Palmer in the television series Twin Peaks , Leon Nash in the movie Robot Policeman , and The Devil in the television series Reaper .

Career
In the late sixties and early seventies, Wise played lawyer Jamie Rollins in the soap opera Love of Life. In 1982, he played Alec Holland in the movie Swamp Thing, based on a series of comics of the same name. In addition to the cult series Twin Peaks, Wise has performed several roles in science fiction films. He played the role of millionaire Dalton Voss in the movie "The Chase . " He starred as Jack Taggart Sr. in the movie Jeepers Creepers 2 . He is also known for portraying Michael Dugan , president of the United States, in the computer game Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 and its add-on Command & Conquer: Yuri's Revenge . In 2008, he took part in one of the episodes of the series “Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!”.
Wise played the Devil in the series Reaper . He already had to play this role in 2002 in the series Charmed , in the form of the highest-level demon Ludlow , who ran the Source of All Evil school. In 2011, he starred in the movie " X-Men: First Class " and in the series " Hawaii 5.0 ".
Personal life
Wise was born in Akron, Ohio , and attended Kent State University in Kent, Ohio .
Wise married Kass McClaskey in 1978. Has two children: a son, Gannon (( born Gannon McClaskey-Wise ), born 1985 ), and a daughter, Kina (( born Kyna McClaskey-Wise ), born 1987 ), also known as DJ Kyna . He currently resides in Glendale , California .
