The stadium is located on Harry Potta Street, accommodates 22,546 spectators. It consists of four main tribunes: James Hargreaves Tribune, Jimmy McIlroy Tribune, Bob Lord Tribune and David Fishwick Tribune .
The first game played at this stadium was the game between Burnley and Rotenstol Athletic .
The attendance record for Turf Moore was recorded in 1924 , when the match with the Huddersfield Town club in the English League Cup was attended by 54,755 people.

History
Earlier, Burnley spent his matches at the Calder Vale Stadium (Calder Vale), which is one of the oldest fields in England, but in September 1883 the cricket club invited the Burnley football club to Turf Moore. The club paid £ 65 and Turf Moore became the home ground for Burnley. In his first match at Turf Moore Burnley lost to Rothenstall Athletic 3: 6.
A year later, the club built a rostrum with “seating” seats for 800 seats and an uncovered tribune with “standing” seats for 5000 seats.
In 1908 the club built two covered stands along the field: Brunshaw Lane Stand, where the Bob Lord Tribune is now located and Star Stand, where the James Hargreaves Tribune is now located.

Jimmy McIlroy (East) Tribune

The Jimmy McIlroy Stand is a tribune, the upper tier of which was created during the reconstruction of the stadium in 1996 .
David Fishwick Tribune (Western)
Designed: 1969
Capacity: 4,126
The David Fishwick Stand [1] was built in 1969. Now mainly used to accommodate non-resident fans.
Tribune James Hargreaves (North)
Designed: 1996
Capacity: 8,154
James Hargreaves Stand [2] was opened on April 23, 1996. Now it is the main stand of the stadium, located along the field. Between the two tiers is a corporate zone, used for various purposes.
Tribune Bob Lord (South)
Designed: 1974
Capacity: 3,987
The Bob Lord Stand was opened in 1974, largely due to the sale of Martin Dobson . The tribune is named after the president of the club, Bob Lord . The second tier of this rostrum will be built if the team gets into the Premier League (the stadium capacity will be equal to 28,000) [1]
