Career
Formula Azzurra
After six years in karting , de Marco took part in Formula Azzurra for the Durango team in 2006 and showed very good results there. Nicola won three races and finished the season after Giuseppe Termine and another FIA Formula 2 driver Mirco Bortollotti .
He also took part in Formula Renault 2.0 Italy Winter Series , finishing the season in ninth place.
Formula 3
After a year of performing in the junior series, de Marco moved to Italian Formula 3 for the Lucidi Motors team, earning six podiums and a pole position on the Vallelunga track in the 2007 season. [1] This earned him sixth place, but he was surpassed by his teammate Paolo Nocher , who became the champion.
The choice of the Spanish Formula 3 in 2008 gave hope to see progress and gain experience. Participating in the RP Motorsport team, de Marco defeated the Spa Francorchamps , [2] and Albacete [3] and finished the championship in fourth place, losing only one point to bronze medalist Natasha Gashnan . [four]
Formula 2
Nicola decided to take part in the revived FIA Formula 2 series in 2009 . He will ride a car at number 10. [5]
